GOTS
GOTS is a world-renowned organization for the certification of organically grown textiles. In 2022, Kadolis obtained this certification, which is the result of a long work. It covers not only the products but also the factories and guarantees an ethical, sustainable and transparent production.
WHAT DOES GOTS CERTIFICATION GUARANTEE?
➔ GOTS certification guarantees the use of organic fibers grown without the use of pesticides or insecticides. It also promotes responsible water management by limiting runoff.
➔ It bans all chemicals that can be harmful to people and the planet.
➔ It guarantees that all stages of production are environmentally friendly and ensures good working conditions for workers by paying them fair and equitable wages.
WHAT HARMFUL SUBSTANCES DOES GOTS CONTROL?
GOTS bans toxic heavy metals, carcinogenic dyes, endocrine disruptors, formaldehydes, phthalates, microplastics... Where chemicals are unavoidable (dyes, softeners...), residue limits must be respected.
ECOCERT
Kadolis chose the French certification body ECOCERT GREENLIFE to obtain certification for its company and its organic cotton bedding. In 2022, Kadolis obtained the ECOCERT TEXTILE certification, usually known in the field of organic cosmetics and detergents.
WHAT DOES THE ECOCERT CERTIFICATION GUARANTEE?
➔ ECOCERT certification guarantees the traceability and transparency of the production chain, from the raw materials to the final consumer. It also guarantees that production respects natural resources such as water, air and soil.
➔ Product packaging must be biodegradable or recyclable and FSC® certified. FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certification is a certification system that ensures forest products come from responsibly and sustainably managed forests.
➔ Working with ECOCERT protects your health, provides transparent information, preserves our planet and its resources, and reduces waste.
WHAT HARMFUL SUBSTANCES DOES ECOCERT CONTROL?
GMOs, synthetic pesticides, chemical nitrogen fertilizers, harmful dyes and synthetic fragrances, silicone and parabens are banned. ECOCERT controls chemical products on the plantations (to promote biodiversity) and during the manufacturing process (as few additives as possible).
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
OEKO-TEX® is the first label to guarantee the ecOEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a certification that targets textiles and guarantees the absence of hazardous chemicals, especially in mattresses and bedding. In 2017, Kadolis obtained this certification for the most demanding product class: class 1 for items intended for babies and young children.
WHAT DOES THE OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CERTIFICATION GUARANTEE?➔ In order to be OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, products undergo various tests by an independent laboratory to verify the absence of hazardous and controversial substances. This certification guarantees that the product is safe for you and your family's health.
➔ All parts of the product are tested: fabric, thread, button, zipper, labels and materials.
➔ The product is subjected to rigorous controls throughout its manufacture, from the processing of the cotton to the weaving and dyeing to the processing of the yarn.
WHICH HARMFUL SUBSTANCES ARE CONTROLLED BY OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100?Substances controlled by OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 include carcinogenic or allergenic dyes, flame retardants, formaldehydes, heavy metals, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, phthalates, solvents and dyes.ological qualities of textiles. it ensures that the fibers and textiles are completely free of toxic products that could be harmful for the body and for the environment.
The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification covers all the processing steps as well as all the materials used during the textile processing process.

EUROLATEX® EUROLATEX®
There are different qualities of Latex: Natural Latex and synthetic Latex. Natural latex is obtained from the sap of the rubber tree (rubber).
It is much more elastic and has a unique and durable rebound. It allows to create mattresses offering a firm support, while marrying the contours of the body.
Only latex containing at least 85% natural latex is entitled to the name "100% natural latex".
The latex of our baby mattresses is made of 100% natural latex.
Our latex is certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, LGA and Eurolatex Eco Standard and Ecolabel (2002/710 / EU). The latex is antibacterial. According to recent studies by Centexbel (Belgian Textile Research Center), Latex also has excellent anti-mite properties.
